I also think it is our duty to put the facts of the man's resume online for anyone interested to see. So many people seem to think he's this wildly successful coach. We should honestly pin a thread on his coaching resume, just facts, no commentary.

Yes good point Brooklyn. Put it in black and white. 17s post about legacy, I think Mooney and joc and hardt just basically bury their heads and believe in "most wins" and Dean of a10 coaches and good guy. They just fluff off the actual record and pitiful record against VCU and good teams.

Can't include that because the preseason predictions are all subjective, so can be debated. I want only things that are irrefutable numbers. No debate. Irrefutable numbers that are simply what he has done, not on what others think he should do.

I like irrefutable numbers too but I disagree. But that’s ok it’s on my list & why can’t I include. U don’t make the list rules lol. NCAAs and vcu record rank way above it admittedly.

Look external expectations drive a lot. Expectations from your own fans, media, others. Big part of sports. Remember we get zero expectations and goals beyond “compete” from our own program internally so we have to rely on something. And the A10 poll is the most formal & from the ppl who follow league most closely. Of course subjective but I guess u can never reference all A10 league awards again. Those r voted on too.

I think still very representative of an overall Moon tenure underachievement.

Nobody can name 1 good long term Moon tenure metric. They don’t exist. I’ve said b4 his best one is ncaa tourney game record of 3-3. But it’s negated bc he’s been to only 3.

I’d argue that comparing our final standings to what we were predicted in preseason polls is objective. We were predicted to finish X and we actually finished Y.

The “compete” part is total crap. I can’t even remember the last time we beat VCU. And yet we play them twice a year. If we honestly have a rivalry or you’re trying to play in the same conference. Wouldn’t you expect to beat them a lot more times.

The “compete” thing is just some buzz word to deflect from real problems. The concept and vocabulary word makes us look soft. See excuses.
