They appreciate all of the "new fans".Well it is being marketing as "fan appreciation night". Not sure in what ways they are going to show the fans their appreciations, other than by naming the game "fan appreciation night".

Could be the one UR student who shows up?It is fan appreciation night. I wonder who the lucky fan is who will be appreciated.
It’s quite possibly the cheapest tchotchke to give away. Next year it’ll be a logo pen or possibly a set of multicolored sticky notes.Free koozies for the first 2,000 fans. Over/under on whether they'll have leftovers?
And shoot balls for pizza. That went the wayside too.We used to give away tshirts.
I’ve pondered this and am coming back to one of two possibilities. We have got to have the worst in game giveaway/promotions than any other team in the conference. I told you guys the story of when I was a student and did one of those time out challenges where we putt a golf ball the whole length of the court through a cut out whole. The prize for this feat? It was like a $100-200 Amtrak gift card. Other schools are giving thousands of dollars in cash and we’re out here giving gift cards to go on a train.
