I didn’t want to add mine to the topic.
Inbound beyond three point line.
Two best leapers in paint to tap any rebound back out. Not a two point put back.
Best three point shooters outside. Play one for a pick to free up a shot.
Why? If you get a two point basket and call time the other team can still kill time If an immediate foul they get two shots and you’ll still need a three.
The defense is not going to defend a two.

Chance considerations: 4 point play, other team misses fts.

knowing defense will switch all screens on the perimeter, I don't expect to get a good look from 3 and the inbounds will be tough.
I try to get it into the paint on a back screen inside. from there, defense might relax. look to kickout for a 3.

btw ... Tanner was incredibly open on an inbounds with about a minute left but Johnston didn't see him. should have been his first look.

The only reason I can think of for not shooting a 3 is that we had shot 17% from 3 for the game. I don’t agree with that reasoning though, we should have gone for a 3

Remember the days on old Rivals Site when there was discussion of TJ's mom (Nancy Lieberman) being our next coach. IMHO worth discussion again & certainly a better option.
