Game Thread - GMU @ RC Tuesday 2/10 7pm ESPN+

AP is a 20% 3 point shooter over 2 years and this is his final season. There is basically no reason to ever put him in ahead of Robinson or even Tanner, basically anyone who will be here next season. Robinson actually makes things happen on offense and is a big body on defense who plays physically.

If we play a meaningful game in the A10 tourney, and need a defensive sub for a possession or an off/def rotation late, sure, why not. But tonight's game where UR won bc all the shooters were on the court and hitting, shows how UR will win - by firing from 3 and playing fast. Glou doesn't fit bc he cannot shoot.

sorry @GlouGuy it didn't pan out. If he shot 33% and not 20% he'd probably still be playing a decent amount.

I don’t know what goes into scheduling refs, but UR must be where they send refs who need remediation. This crew was a total zero. Fortunately, the game wasn’t close and all the refs did was make the game last longer than it should have.

Not really we got knocked out the first round in the Atlantic 10 tournament that one year. Totally unacceptable
We are 27-3 against them this century. That’s pretty dominating.

FTR, this is not any kind of feather in our cap, I’m just noting that it’s one of the few A10 opponents we pretty much own.

No AP again. He put up 7/2/2 in his last game and has been glued to the pine ever since
I honestly don’t know that AP brings enough to help us win, so perhaps CM is doing the unusual thing and developing a future talent in JRob.

Fordham faithful here coming off our own impressive 3rd road win (this time vs St Joes ) I’m glad u guys figured out Mincy, it was only a matter of time . By the way, Walz and Allenspach eerily similar…..

I liked the combination of Tyne and Argabright on the court at the same time. I noticed when Tyne was hot Argabright got him the ball and he connected on 3's.
Good players compliment each other that way.

It was nice to not have Tyne and Argabright guarding a big under the basket during a bunch of possessions. It feels like we give up a dozen points a game from that and tonight I only remember one bucket.
It helped a ton that Mason wasn’t shooting a ton of threes and not making many that they did. We often get chaotic on D when our opponent is shooting and hitting on 3s.
