Celebrate Kendall Anthony!

Mojo-Spider

Bench player

no matter how glum the hopes and circumstances are when the Spiders travel down Broad Street to play the Rams, I always feel better remembering Kendall Anthony's game in our shocking upset of the Rams at Siegel in 2015...

of all the outstanding performances I have seen by all of our great small guards, this is one of my favorites...

as hopeless as things may seem these highlights could make you feel better...at least until game time!

Go Spiders!

And a Trey Davis 3?!

We had some good talent on that team. Kendall, ShawnDre, Terry Allen, and TJ are all better than anyone we have had the past 2 seasons. Aiden could get there talent wise, but my goodness, what a difference in all around team talent between then and now.
Yes, the difference in talent we had with those teams and what we are putting on the court right now is really quite stunning. AA and Lopez could play on that team. Rest of the guys we have would be deep bench guys on that team.

Thanks for posting that. Really wish we did the game highlights that still.
Shhhh. It's all part of the de-emphasizing our hoops program. It has worked on the masses, only a few of us on this board left. Don't fall asleep, or Jabba will steal your basketball soul.Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Daughtry starts on that team over ANO. Cline to the 5. Walz and/or Beagle beats out ANO for the backup 5 spot too.
and Johnston would have a role.
that's 5 guys on our current team playing on a 9 man deep rotation, but only one starter.

Briante face down on the deck is such a great moment.

I always had a soft spot for Ododa. He was the ultimate short leash player for CM. Made one mistake and got yanked, but had a ton of talent. His confidence was just shot for much of his time here it seemed.

I would start SDJ, KA, Lopez, Terry Allen, Cline. Aiden is our 6th man. Walz/Beagle/ANO are all a wash to me. ANO was more talented but as noted was in his head a lot. Johnston is probably the 7-8 guy in that rotation but he plays.

one of the better defensive bigs under Mooney

He was injured part of that season, but at the time I had done some armchair analysis and objectively we were a much better team in the games he played in than when he didn’t. A lot of folks panned him, but I always liked his game.

He’s the main shot blocker I think of when I think Richmond hoops for sure. And it’s kinda of hard when you are on a team with a bunch of greats. His sister is a stud at hoops went to UConn so it def runs in the family
