Epic collapse by Dayton, up 14 on Georgetown with about 5 minutes left and now going to OT
I refuse to comment on it, but I can comment on your commentThis stuff drives me nuts. It is like a noted gypsy reading palms or tea leaves in a cup. Means absolutely nothing this early in the season and ashamed I'm even commenting on it.
You would probably do just as well too.I refuse to comment on it, but I can comment on your comment. Why people find it entertaining is beyond me. I would have more fun picking from 364 teams in a hat and making my own bracket!
Maybe we can start betting on them now. Seems like high probability choices. If we lay down bets now, we can get discounts. However once football playoffs begin then discounts are no longer available.Put me down for UMES, Tulane, Brown, and Florida A&M as my random 1-seeds.
But the Rams refused to take it. Never have seen them turn the ball over multiple times at the end of a game before. Also, seemed like they haven’t figured out who can close for them.New Mexico trying to give the game to VCU on a silver platter
Disappointing. Looks like a cold shooting night doomed them.GW with a sub 300 net home loss - ugly
Bad loss to Delaware at home? Hits too close to home there. Still have nightmares of that game /sGW with a sub 300 net home loss - ugly
Good. Let’s kick their ass this year (I’m worried we won’t). Maybe they finally screwed up a hire (they probably didn’t). But man a sweep over those clowns would be niceBut the Rams refused to take it. Never have seen them turn the ball over multiple times at the end of a game before. Not overly surprising although it is worse than usual as VCU and Dayton aren’t carrying the conference on the OOC win front. We all know the OOC schedules are overly weak and so the records look great, but there is little substance. The talking heads have to find something to talk about to the casual fan and record is an easy reference point.A-10 had a decent looking profile at the start of the month and it all has come crashing down.
GW loses to frickin Delaware at home.
VCU loses at home to New Mexico
Rhody loses to Providence and McNeese at home
Davidson lost at home to St. Mary's
Mason lost to Tech
Dayton gets steamrolled by UVA
The only decent win in December by the A-10 was delivered by us. In fact, I think the league's only Quad 1 win belongs to us (and that isn't going to stand once Belmont gets into conference play and loses a couple games). But still, a nice feather in our cap but also a testament to the weakness of the league's scheduling and ability to deliver wins in the few marquee games they got.
They need to understand who really runs the city.Good. Let’s kick their ass this year (I’m worried we won’t). Maybe they finally screwed up a hire (they probably didn’t). But man a sweep over those clowns would be nice
Looks like the A-10 has 2 Quad 1 wins. Rhody has a Quad 1 win over Yale (which like our Q1 win is even less likely to stand once Yale enters conference play). A-10 being a 3 bid league seems like a really remote possibility. I think our best case if to hope like a team like SLU goes like 15-3 in the league and loses in the tourney final and then maybe we get 2 bids. I don't see any A-10 league building an at large worthy resume beyond that type of scenario.A-10 had a decent looking profile at the start of the month and it all has come crashing down.

One Davidson alumn that I follow did an X thread on this subject this week but isn't perfect but I do think legitimately captures how there are still multiple teams including us have at least a chance of at large bid.Looks like the A-10 has 2 Quad 1 wins.
