Yeah, I'm not as concerned with stateside transfers/Canada high school recruits as I am finding young European players playing in pro leagues that are now eligible to come play college basketball.
For example, Bucknell was able to pull Amon Dorries, a 6'11 C from Germany, who is averaging 17ppg. Even though he's 20 years old and played in the top level German league, he's classified as a Freshman. This is the perfect type of player for us to get. There is no reason why we shouldn't land players like these going forward.

Yeah besides Canada only Goose was straight from international. I wouldn't count transfers as mining international ourselves. Canada ok. I didn't read article but I think talking Europe and farther

agreed not all straight from international, but still international which has always fit Mooney's system.

Ever read the book Catch 22? That is what Hardt, Mooney and PQ are working on us. You think its bad now, wait until next year. It's going to be so bad in 2027 that we are going to have to give CM an extension, to make sure it doesn't get worse.

Yes, as you have noted, it's a bizarro world with Richmond Spiders basketball. It's kind of like Yossarian in Catch 22 - he keeps getting more flights added - flights he has to complete to be sent home from war. Every time he gets close, they add to the total. He wants to claim insanity to get sent home. But the military thinks only an insane person would want to do more flights - i.e. you must be insane to want to risk your life doing more flights. So he does more flights in order to be insane, but they just keep adding more flights. He has to keep doing more flights.
I think this is kind of the box that Hardt and PQ are putting us in, we have to lose more and lose more, but then there is some kind of insane logic that mooney brings stability and if we get a new coach we will lose even more. I have myself twisted in knots now. But that is the insane logic we as Richmond fans get handed. We are basically Yosarrian.
