looking forward to seeing how the Spiders fare against Belichick's new program and squad...Coach Belichick has achieved everything Carolina could have asked for (ticket sales, publicity and excitement) except fielding an impressive team...the totally rebuilt program and team have not come together yet...
the Tarheels have not been impressive in their first two games...Belichick has admitted they are not a good team yet citing inconsistent performance on both sides of the ball...the Heels need to execute better and master the fundamentals...
if there was ever a good time to play a Belichick team...this could be it...
Belichick's observations seem similar to some of the assessments of Coach Huesman after two games...the Spiders clearly have the same challenges, particularly as the rebuilt offensive line comes together...Spiders' fans know all about these
but let's not get silly, despite everything ailing UNC this game is still a matchup of FCS v BCS...Belichick v. Huesman...and all the other advantages of being a BCS Power Four Program...I'll be hoping the Spiders are super motivated by this opportunity and finally play a "clean" game that fans have been hoping for!
after being embarrassed by TCU in their home opener, I expect North Carolina to be highly motivated to help their fans forget!...let's hope the Spiders can keep them waiting for another week with a good battle!...
years from now just think of the war stories that every Spiders' player will have to tell about playing against Belichick...take advantage and enjoy the moment!
