Great listen today! Agree that we will need others to step outside the big 3. I think Dewey, Simon, Richard, Newell will step up. Also, I have no doubt that a freshman will become an impactful contributor too. My anticipated starting line up.

4 - Doogan
5 - Dewey

Ladies starting five seems pretty obvious at this point. The big questions though are who else is going to step up as a key last year was being able to go 9 deep.

Also key for the future because there is going to be even bigger gaps to fill next year.

I'm not 100% convinced this is our starting lineup, but the way we play I'm also not sure it matters. My dark horse for a starter for game one is Richard. Rousell got her in a few games during the year much like he did Katie Hill in her freshman year. I could also be 100% wrong, but I can see her starting instead of Simon at least at first.

I am also not convinced about that 5 being the starters. But, I do see Simon starting. The questionable one for me is Dewey. She is going to play a good deal, but I see most of it in relief of Maggie and Simon with maybe a few minutes (especially come A-10 season) of the three of them upfront.

But the big question for me is perimeter defense and I really don't love the perimeter defense with that group together. I have said all along that I think Richards is key. Haven't seen enough of her to know much, but we need a strong perimeter defender who can handle a little and knock down threes. A 3-and-D type. Surprised we didn't get one in the portal, but hoping that means Rousell knows he already has one! If thats Richards and she makes the kind of leap that Hill and Sweeney did from year one to two, we will be ready to go early! If she can't do it, I think we will need some time to figure out a group and a modified style of play style of play to accomodate.
