OOC scheduling for mid-majors

Also the fact that their AD/coach went public with a reporter about their desire to schedule us and our refusal to do so is pretty telling of their frustration. It would be really nice if a local reporter followed up with Hardt and Mooney at our next press opportunity to ask them to respond to this.

If our schedule was full of great games, one could say, we really don't need JMU on our schedule because we have better options. Of course, we can't say that but what we have been told to us is this is the best we can get. Which obviously is another confirmed mistruth by our administration, that JMU confirmed to us by this public article.

For whatever reason, we think we are "too good" to play road only games at majors. Even though there is very little negative, if any, to it. And, looking at our past 2 OOC schedules, I guess we won't schedule good mid majors either.
Not only that, it seems that we actively turned away opportunities against good mid majors like JMU or Mooney saying in a recent interview he would never consider playing Radford, Columbia, or Iona because of the head coaches being former players of his. Radford and Iona have been solid mid majors over the years too.

Mooney is apparently afraid to play his own shadow and wouldn't dare suffer the indignation of having a former player beat him.

That said, I have zero desire to play Radford, Columbia, or Iona. Those schools do nothing for our resume, of course the same statement can be made about all of the schools on our current OOC schedule as well.
