Right, in fact one of those programs has become one of two main A10 conference teams much to my chagrin.those "new" 3 are the least of the A10's problems.

Correct. Just like the CAA.Right, in fact one of those programs has become one of two main A10 conference teams much to my chagrin.
To not be LaSalle
Well, we’ve been in Purgatory for a decade and a half, so if you subscribe to some version of Dante’s Inferno, there are 9 more levels we can sink to.How much lower can you go?

In other words, looking for a program that is striving for excellence versus just being OK.I would like to feel we have a fighting chance no matter who we play, rather than I hope we don't get smoked.
I think it proves the point its not an "easy" job. I will admit I am discouraged by St Joe and St Louis games but the job has some disadvantages. With our facilities and resources (and leaves), we shouldn't be the ranked as 8th best job in this league - I think it just shows that the expectations for lil ole Richmond have been beaten down by what has been accomplished by CFL in the last 20 years.
Those disadvantages are basically imposed by the ADS (plural) and admin settling and lowering expectations. And no dont start with academics, that doesn't apply any more. It's alla bout getting the right coach. And then again, and again. As VCU has done, and Utah State. PQ, Hardt, admin dont really care that much. That is problem number one.I think it proves the point its not an "easy" job. I will admit I am discouraged by St Joe and St Louis games but the job has some disadvantages.
what makes it an easy job is casual fans like you claiming he's underappreciated, a day after we lose a Q4 game at home.I think it proves the point its not an "easy" job. I will admit I am discouraged by St Joe and St Louis games but the job has some disadvantages.
Ok, I’ll bite. Name one disadvantage.I think it proves the point its not an "easy" job. I will admit I am discouraged by St Joe and St Louis games but the job has some disadvantages.
Campus is not in an urban setting and not as attractive as some more urban campuses (UVA, VCU) to athletes. NIL funds middle of pack for the A-10; less national tv exposure than other flagships in A-10.Ok, I’ll bite.
Ok, I’ll bite. Name one disadvantage.
We coulda/shoulda been a flagship program, our fault, which would have resulted in a more enthused base and more NIL. Can't speak to whats more appealing, urban or not, but come on, we are all of 4 miles down the road from VCU "wonderful" urban setting. Good coach/recruiter easily overcomes the urban nonesense, and sells the benefits of our "rural" campusCampus is not in an urban setting and not as attractive as some more urban campuses (UVA, VCU) to athletes. NIL funds middle of pack for the A-10; less national tv exposure than other flagships in A-10.
That's 3--what are you going to disagree with.
Everyone of them. I suspect UVA alums will disagree about the Grounds being an urban campus. As to VCU, to some folks the concrete jungle is attractive. I do not fall in that category and I don’t believe it’s a recruiting advantage to be labeled as an urban school. What a silly excuse.Campus is not in an urban setting and not as attractive as some more urban campuses (UVA, VCU) to athletes.
