I think you’re thinking of 6’3” Natalie Wetzel. Came down to us or Miami and she chose Miami and just finished her freshman year there. ESPN top 100 in her class too. No sign that she’s in the portal.Bigs are what we need - and while Asare is a pretty good player, don't think we need to be looking at a 5'8" guard coming off a season-ending knee injury.
There's a player that sticks in my mind that was discussed on the old board. Her decision was down to Florida (I think) with Richmond as the runner up. I have checked my memory banks (and the Florida roster) and can't recall who that was. My recollection is that she was a big or big wing. Anyone remember who that was?
