Game Thread - vs. Nebraska in NCAA play-in game - Wed 3/18 ESPN2 in Durham at Cameron

Tix booked .. where are other staying if you are planning to spend the night- I'm a Marriott guy so will either stay at the Aloft or downtown Marriott- neither of which looks crazy nice but should suffice

Are there suggested sections for Richmond fans to buy tickets in? Looks like tickets get bought through Duke.
Based on the UR announcements and my own searches, seesm the Duke site is best way to buy. At least when I bought at 11, tix were pretty reasonable and close to court.

What section did you choose? Do you know if our team will be seated where Duke normally sis or where visitor normally sits?

I struggled with the seating chart a bit .. I think we will be on the visitors bench more likely .. regardless, there didn't appear to be any seats open directly behind visitors bench - sort of assume UR control those seats so grabbed a seat in Row B which is either the 1st or the 2nd row in section 17 across the court - when I just looked again, seems not many seats have been bought etc so thinking we will be able to move around a lot as well.

Golden opportunity being missed to make it easy for fans to travel and make it fun to attend. If this was during the Tarrant years buses would be deployed to take and return fans from Robins Center parking lot to Durham. And some students would attend with alumni. And of course there was a volunteer group of Spider Club members who supported the athletic department in this regard. It may not be too late- let’s see.

I remember riding a UR sponsored bus with older alums to the Palestra in 1984 to beat Ryder in the play in game. Fun and jovial with the older alums. Met friends from NY who came down for the game. Yes UR won and then faced Auburn….
