Late arriving but three rows filled and standing on student section closest to me and some on other side - better than expected to me tonight

Thanks for the insight. I’m basing it off TV, but there are some camera angles that can show student section well and it looks pretty empty. I get that we’re playing a lousy D3 team but home openers have always been against low tier opponents (granted D1) and students would always be there for that. Sad to see it’s not the case now.

I tuned in for 5 minutes to see us air ball 3 shots and only up 6 points against a lousy D3 team picked 7th in their conference. Switching to watch a different tv show.

I'm getting the same way watching this. This is a very mediocre unathletic looking d3 team. Just hard to take anything away. AP still can't shoot. Agree with all that Argabright looks like a player.

So some things are becoming clear early - - Walz, Tyne, and Daughtery are going to be the core. Argabright is going to play a bunch. Beagle is solid/good as a backup big. We need to find out who are going to be the wings!! None of Lopez, Tanner, Johnston has looked very good so far (albeit its very early).

I thought for sure he was hurt. Mooney is just plain coaching incompetence and getting worse every year.

That press we are running is going to get eaten alive by any sort of decent D1 team. The problem for us as we saw last year is that things can look good in practice but thats because we get to play against ourselves!

We need to hire some practice players like the Women's team does so we can practice against some better players than ourselves. Just get all the VCU alums who are local!
