This is the real throw away year in the long game, thus the OOC schedule. Last year was the year of realization that the cupboard was bare. This year was the keep the heat off you year. Schedule terribly, win more games against bad teams, let the transfers all play. Next year is the keep the expectations down year (which in actuality is almost every year in UR marketing) as you play young guys year. Then hope for 1 good year in '28 before anyone leaves for NIL money.

If it doesn't pan out, blame NIL.

Go Maggie and women's team. Good to see a defense that doesn't switch for no reason against dribble handoffs.

TV Guys yesterday mentioned our good record and how we've already won more games this year than last year. Of course, hidden from TV audience is what a $hit schedule Moon played OOC. Kind of similar to "coach with most wins at UR", and we know his losses numbers.

So right now we are in 8th place of 14 teams in A10. Our losses are to 3 teams above us & our wins are against basement teams. We still have to play current upper tier A10 teams Dayton once, VCU twice, GW one more time, GM once, and Davidson twice. Granted, things can change, but right now that seems to be better A10 teams. Not sure about Davidson, but the rest "seem" to be stronger teams, and teams we probably have trouble with. I didn't mention remaining games against perceived weak rankings in A10. Based upon remaining schedule, my guess unless we find some strength / consistency we will finish mid to lower pack in line with some preseason prognostications.
