This team has a chance to win when they run and let it fly. That half court offense grinds us to a halt and we really can’t play defense for any extended period of time.

I only recall taking a couple of midrange shots, guys either went with the three ball or drove.

This is what we did at the start of the season and even against Belmont. As A10 play progressed Mooney reverted back to his old weave and drain shot clock. Just like his TOs to kill his own runs, he seems to do things counter to success.

very entertaining game, we got to play the way I'd thought we'd play all season. i guess the Bonnies have a terrible defense too, especially their guards as we got 3 guards in double figures and Thomas kicked in 5 more in just 8m of action.

glad the seniors got a win.

also glad AP made two 3s, as I've been as hard on him as anyone bc it's solely his been shot-missing that has been me harping on him. He gave pretty perfect 2nd half bench minutes tonight.

It was less than that at the start, but more people may have come as the game was once again a dinner time special.

There actually were a few promos today. I guess it was the last chance to get them in.

Was a fun game to watch due to the lack of D. Definitely happy for the senior players that they got a win.

Announced crowd of 5502, which is about 1700 unsold seats - and the sold number never matches butts in seats. If you have to preface it with “pretty good crowd given our recent record”, you’ve said it. It was fine, but I wouldn’t call it a good crowd.

It was a good game. Feel like save the start of the VCU game we've been playing much better our last 4. Agree we actually play a bit better when uptempo.

Unfortunately, will be tough to climb out of bottom 4 as we lose most of the tiebreakers to those ahead of us.

Agreed, that little mini run he took us on with the 3's, blocks and assists pushed us into a lead we never gave up. It felt good to see him out there making a difference like that. Good to see all the seniors playing well tonight really, a team win for sure.

I know losing should, in theory, help us get a new coach soon, but I just can't root against our guys. Always great to see a win at the Robins Center.

haha, the start of the VCU game, and also the rest of the first half of that game. Also the last 4 minutes of that game, where they outscored UR by 9 to win by 11. So 24 minutes of that game.

Also, the part where Davidson took a 30-15 lead against UR, and had an 11 point lead at the half. Or when UR scored 3 points in 7 minutes between 10:00 and 2:52 of the 2nd half of the Davidson game to let them take control and then hold on for the win. So 27 minutes of that game.

Yup, other than playing poorly for the majority of 2 games, we played great the last 3 games.

It’s nuts that a fan feels any ambivalence about the spiders losing yet that’s where we are. It’s crazy town.

We need a change. I don’t care that we won a shootout against Bonnies after giving up 94 pts. It’s meaningless and everyone knows this including our AD. We can be so much better than this.

Historically strong, but undeniably awful this year. The worst defense in the league by FG% allowed and points allowed. There are only three teams worse than us in three league, and three of our five league wins are against them, with Loyola still to come.

We stink, but fortunately for Mooney there are three teams that are worse.
