Guy was a bucket against our terrible OOC schedule when we played fast and loose, never seemed to find it once competition got harder and we reverted back to the weave offense and found his way into the Moondog doghouse. Weird season for him, can totally understand moving on, didn’t seem like a good fit for Mooneyball.

This was foreseeable, when you aren’t getting much past 15-20 mins per game on a dogshit team, it’s easy to feel like you aren’t being given a fair shake. We can debate if that was warranted or not, but if I’m him I’d probably bail too, especially if my offseason convo didn’t assure me I’d get more time.

On Bob's show today, he kinda made it sound like it was a bad fit from the beginning. Reading between the lines, if I had to guess a player that wasn't always a max effort guy like AA talked about, Daughtry might be at the top of the list.

Loved the idea of JD, but as others have said, he was way too inconsistent in conference play. His go-to move of backing down from the three point line resulted in a turnover way too often against A10 competition. Would still have taken him back next year with the hope of improvement in his second season though.

I can't come up with a good excuse for missing a walk through. Especially a road game when you probably have a roommate.
I'm 100% fine with the punishment. these are grown men and getting paid. show some responsibility.

I'm fine with whatever punishment was issued as well. My point I was making is that perhaps it wasn't his first time not following team rules/expectations and given AA's comments about some players not giving their all, it possibly offers an explanation as to why he is leaving a team that he clearly was going to have a big role in next year and was also playing at home which he said numerous times was a huge deal for him.
