So we’re told on many occasions how deep this team is. The bench got outscored big time today in Loyola-Chicago. Seems like your talent can’t cover your coaching inability Mooney.

If we were starting 12 players each game we’d have better first half production, and more technicals. I think, not super confident about the production part.

Jack D’Entremont could be the leading scorer on this team imo. & Adam Ward a starter. No knock on either of those guys. I knew Adam. Stud water polo player too (for Arachnid).

Well, as suspected. And posted by that guy that evaluated and gave a grade to every D1 transfer pick up. He like our guys offense, but graded every transfer bad on defense. Two years in a row that we got transfers that just either were poor on defense, or just not good all around players. The euro guy last year could put up 15 points on unlimited shots, but terrible ball stopper and negative team chemistry guy. My guy GW3, I admit was proven wrong on him , not an effective D1 or A10 player it seems. B. Artis was damaged goods, never saw one healthy game. Admittedly liked the guys we got a lot more this year, but Johnston and Daughtry came in with very low profiles on defense, and that played out. Doesn't look too bad in games they have offensive explosions, but when they are off become huge liabilities. So righ, we are not deep.
I liked D'Entremont too. He actually had a lot of well rounded basketball skill, but I guess when you are paying other guys a lot more, its hard to justify sitting them on the bench.
