Agreed. Although my sense is this community would throw their full weight behind a piece of toast at this point. When there is a change, i hope this group will be vocal in support even if the basis is finally some hope.
LOL. I would give the new coach a free year in the win/loss column if he just shows some life and excitement in his press conferences, at least has a plan to share to give us hope, and, most importantly, says we will win and does not make any excuses why we won't win.Agreed. Although my sense is this community would throw their full weight behind a piece of toast at this point.
Actually, I was waning in support last year. I am well past waning now. My support level is at 0, and has been pretty much since the schedule came out, followed by the excuses and the whining about it.Just ask VT4700, former loyalist, he's waning big time now.
Enemies? I want what’s best for the program, that’s clearly the need for new leadership.Apparently being optimistic and hopeful that we finish the season on a strong note is a bad thing around here. With fans like these who needs enemies.
FWIW, I still hold out delusional hope that we can make an A10 run. I still watch the games. I just want more winning. I'll absolutely support. When there is a change, i hope this group will be vocal in support even if the basis is finally some hope.
Yup. I think we might go 2-2 instead of 3-1. Dayton feels like a loss and Duquesne had won 5 straight before losing to Dayton today. Normally we own them but not feeling so confident this season.there's one of the 3.
I know, it’s very weird. We always beat Duquesne no matter our record. Until they break that trend I'm not ever predicting a loss in that matchup.

For those of us who grew up on Lewis Mills, Carl Sloane and Goetz (all good guys by the way), we have seen the Good, the Bad and the Ugly over many years, not in that order. Would love to see the sustained Good again like in the Tarrant years.I feel like the change is years away. Most of the guys who grew up on Tarrant and Beilein will be numb by then, and it seems like those that grew up on Mooney just have super low expectations or too much indoctrination from the Triumvirate.
When names like Tarrant and of course Beilein also are mentioned it brings back memories of just how good UR bb could be. One day we’ll get there again. For those of us who grew up on Lewis Mills, Carl Sloane and Goetz (all good guys by the way), we have seen the Good, the Bad and the Ugly over many years, not in that order.
