It was a fumble, but his knee was down. It was pure luck.

Deposit the check from UNC and get out of Chapel Hill healthy. Our defense (especially DL) has been very good and disruptive outside of the 2nd half at Lehigh. Obviously Lehigh is much better than Wofford but our front 7 is playing really well. Offense is what it is. I thought we had some glimpses of improvement last night but still too inconsistent in the passing game. If we have a lead late like last night the battering ram qb runs that everyone hates are quite effective. The question is how many games will we have a lead late (within 3 minutes, etc).

1978 at City Stadium...the Jeff Nixon game...the shocking win by our team led by Jim Tait, led our guys to a 3-8 on finish for the season...the Heels and "famous Amos Lawrence" came to City Stadium hoping for a bowl bid...I think Barry Redden out gained him?...they left RVA still shaking their heads about the visitor's locker room!

those were the days...a great memory!
