Where will UR be ranked in the PL?

If Georgetown wins and if Bucknell wins, we would be in 5th place. Otherwise, we remain in 4th place.
This should be a real wake up call for Huesman & Co.

If Holy Cross beats Georgetown, there will be a 4-way tie for third at 3–4...UR, G'town, Holy Cross, and the winner of Bucknell/Colgate.

Preseason weren't we picked 2nd in PL and top 25 FCS?

Reasons aside for this year...bottom line we underachieved. Not a great football year. Next year really needs to be better. This is a league we should be at top or near top annually.

PL is a good league and will even be better with additions of Bill & Mary and Villanova. But still quite a ways to go to catch up to MVC and Big Sky conferences.

Some comments seem overly negative. What was expected? Lost half our starters from last year through up transfers to FBS programs then add in normal graduations.

Preseason in the FCS World we lived on our recent resume - three consecutive playoff appearances and two consecutive CAA Conference Championships. NOT the same team as last year. Young, extremely inexperienced in some position groups, new OC coordinator, but they have been game every outing. No quit in this group. Bodes well for the future as well as starter experience for so many this season. Got to hang on to them.

What could’ve been in the CAA. Hopefully, PL continues to climb and get into 2-3 bid territory. Need to change the grad transfer rule though. Us, Lehigh, Lafayette, Holy Cross, Villanova, and W&M all have potential to be top 25 caliber teams in a given year. Should be a strong league if the commissioner runs the league properly.

Swap Monmouth out and add Elon in the graphic above and that would've been a good path for the CAA before it became whatever it tried to be with its additions.

Yeah, Elon has been a full CAA member since 2014. They would have had to be in the mix in this alternate reality.
