Porter to the portal. Love the alliteration.
Glad to have had another Sound Off to listen to in the ride to work this morning.
Can’t say I am overly enthusiastic about a slow paced team, but listened to some of Kresge’s recent post game videos and it seems that at least part of that pace has to be related to a short bench. I am sure she is looking forward to having more resources to potentially have a deeper bench. Sounds like Vermont did have a decent attendance for games averaging around 1200 fans in a 3600 seat facility so I am sure she will try to pickup the mantel where Roussell left off. She also knows the value of a strong OOC schedule and wants to get quality opponents on her home court or at least on neutral ones.
The largest hurdle is getting the roster together after a late start, but hopefully she can retain the majority of the existing roster including the recruits. Roussell is focused on retention at UVA too, which is at least partially a positive.
