Next up for Porter a new camera. Tom looks much sharper on the video. I will let the two of you battle on that statement
Audio quality is good with your microphone although it seemed just fine to me before when I think you just used your phone.
All that being said, I am starting to doubt Tom’s choice of a podcast partner. What kind of Spider fan doesn’t look at the home schedule for the VCU game date? That is job #1 in schedule review. I think I am going to have to do some analysis of the Forum User registrations. #ConspiracyTheory /s
Liked Tom’s review of the average attendance numbers. There is no doubt that the crowds are getting thinner and thinner and throwing money at the program isn’t going to suddenly turn those numbers around. In fact, in the short term it may make the situation worse as one would have to imagine that ticket pricing is also going to increase in that scenario. I also am concerned that the game this weekend will be another invasion of yellow; however as mentioned after the last game the rivalry has lost its edge and VCU fans may not even care enough to attend. Then there is the awesome 6 pm tip on Valentine’s Day that Porter somehow missed.
Speaking of 6 pm, why so many of the Women’s games at that time? As Porter mentioned, that makes it tough for the working world to get there for weekday games and and as mentioned on the pod the concessions aren’t exactly killing it either. Just a total lose-lose to me.
Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the upcoming guest episode on Monday and hope you are talking about another win for both programs this weekend.
