Richmond at Kansas

Actually the Q1 win on the road over a very solid and likely NCAA tournament participant Belmont was a huge win and happened just a few months ago. I should also remind you all that only two A10 teams have more Q1 wins than we do and among all the other teams outside of those two we have the highest winning percentage in Q1 games. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming of "The Sky is Falling"

I’ll swap you losses vs Elon, Charleston Southern, and LoyChi for 1 win vs Belmont. That’s a bargain at 3 for 1.

As I have said, despite what others have said the lack of good wins is not the problem. However having 9 bad losses with only LaSalle (11) and Loyola (13) having more is a problem.

How in the world are we only 147 in the NET?? Nine Q3 and 4 losses and a 336 OOC schedule strength and there are still 200+ teams worse than us? I think not.

if we're hanging our hat on Belmont as the best win in 2 years, that says a lot about how far our program has fallen.

I actually think both are a problem. But I’d prefer to avoid the bad losses for sure.

Yes. HUGE win. Massive impact.

What are you on about.

Once our schedule came out, we eliminated any chance of a huge win. Unless we would have gone about 29-2, all of our games, including IC games, were meaningless after u put about a 350 by your OOC SOS number.

I should remind you, we've lost 9 of our last 11, sit in 11th place in our conference (for the second year in a row), have a combined 9 Q3 and 4 losses this year. Great, we have one Q1 win, it is utterly meaningless in comparison to our full body of work, which is a just one giant bag of suck.
We just lost this Saturday to a team that had lost like 13 out of their last 14 and has a NET in 300's, so not only does this team's entire body of work suck, but we are actually playing our worst basketball of the season right now.

Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

Interesting. Was not there a story just like this last season, replacing then VCU coach Odom for Martelli? Or maybe that was someone on the board that let us know that.

On a side note, I recall when we first heard about Daughtry when he was in the portal last spring - he was talking about VCU with no mention of Richmond.

Let me add to this. The last 2 seasons, we have 22 Q3/Q4 losses and 1 Q1/Q2 win.

Let me repeat that. Last 2 seasons:

Q3/Q4 losses: 22
Q1/2 wins: 1

We could have been to the dance 10 times in a row before that, and I would still want and expect a coach with back to back seasons like that fired!!!!!
