They are driving aggressively to the basket and we really don’t have any shot blockers. Probably not every one has been a foul but they have been the aggressor while we usually chuck a 3.

Def agree with this. I’ve seen several drives to the basket where RI took extra steps but foul was called. But their aggressiveness trumps our outside passing, finesse, and taking long shots.

As long as we shoot 80% from 3 Mooney’s system works great. Unfortunately rebounding, aggressiveness, toughness, strength, and athleticism almost always win out.

Even though we have now lost 6 straight, we gotta appreciate our coach. I mean who else wouldn’t want a coach that everyone else in the conference holds in so much regard. Ps these rhody announcers SUCK!

What a surprise that URI gets that rebound off the missed FT. We’ve seen it Mooney’s entire tenure. Mooney’s system and recruiting are a failure when it comes to a huge component of the game. We will never be able to overcome that.
