He had someone right in front of him. He passed to a wide open teammate (Tyne) who missed the shot. Was Tyne open, answer that for me. Maybe i trust the judgement of a 5th year player like Walz. Yeah that makes me a troll.

Tyne shouldn't be shooting either. Not sure why he was on the floor at the end of the game when shooters are needed.

Looks like spiders comeback came just short. This team could get hot and win 4 games in A10 tournament or lose to Fordham in round one. This season has been a microcosm of the past several years — wild variability. Are we going to finish 15-3 in A10 play? Are we going to have 8 D1 wins? Even within the same game: are we going to allow 45 points in one half or 22 points? I have no idea what to expect from us each game. This is not how a program is built and sustained properly.

It was not a well coached game. Disappointing home loss.
That was my feeling coming into the conference slate although the road sweep had me thinking that maybe they could do better. But the Spiders brought me back to Earth quickly with the sudden inability to win at home - a 3 game skid.
Would love to know what the discussion was during the last timeout. Can’t believe the plan was to get Tyne to shoot a 3. Also, can’t believe AP was on the floor. The Hawk’s player at the line was an 84% shooter, so the expectation should have been that he would make the 2nd and Spiders would need to hit a 3 to tie. Thinking you need AP in for a possible rebound makes no sense to me and then you have another marginal 3 pt shooter on the floor at best. Another wonderful job by the coaches.
