Fairfield comes in 4-2 with their only two losses to UNC and Iowa and beat Nova and S. Florida. Should be more of a game than last night but Ladies will prevail 72-58.

Well, they ended up cooling off a little, they ended up 19 for 30 from 3 so only 1 for their last 5 from three.
Too the Spiders credit for the game Fairfield missed 18 shots and only got 1 offensive rebound. Spider did get 7 offensive rebounds for the game and 8 second chance points vs 0 for Fairfield.

Come on now, Prime. Our lady spiders have been incredible in representing our university and have had a ton of success the past 2.5 years. They deserve everything they’ve gotten with NIL/resources and more. We can’t win them all. Today we played against a very motivated and very good Fairfield team. Everything went their way and we couldn’t get ourselves back into the game. Unfortunately this happens. I have no doubt that we will learn from this and get back on track. Still a lot of meaningful basketball games left.

"WE CAN'T WIN THEM ALL"... LOL. I do believe that they stopped being called Lady Spiders 30-40 years ago. Its okay to say they go their butts kicked.
