Fire Mooney

You would think Mooney would just throw in the towel at this point. He must know how the fans feel about him, and damn, 22 years is a good run with 1 tournament appearance in the past 19. “Fire Mooney” has been a crying call of this fanbase for at least 10 years, yet he has survived and it doesn’t seem to phase him for a second. We are all just ignorant fans and he is the Ivy league basketball genius.
 
I was in line last week in concourse to get the jersey giveaway for season tic holders, and the woman in front of me said she and husband are season tic holders. She asked me if I was Moon fan. I told her no. She said they weren’t either and provided reasons. I guess we aren’t real fans.
Could there possibly be Mooney fans still??
 
He did actually say something to the effect of "we have to be accountable, and that starts with me." Generally he just seemed forelorn, and he was saying the forward-looking things you would say after getting your butt kicked, but in a way that sounded more like he was trying to convince himself there was a way out of it.
He has generally seemed pretty lacking in energy. He’s never been a super effusive guy, but he’s a whole level south of that these days.
 
It's tough to say a guy is better than he was when he had only played 13 total minutes or whatever it was, but I know what you mean - he is performing, whereas before he was not even getting on the court. He might have been ready a month ago for all I know but they just kept playing others. I didn't know he had mono tho, heard that last night for
