So we’re slow paced and super inefficient? Idk that I’d say either of those things but I suspect there’s some data behind this.

Yeah that's what the preseason model projects using KenPom data but not sure exactly how that works? So we’re slow paced and super inefficient? Idk that I’d say either of those things but I suspect there’s some data behind this.
it's the perceived "big brother / little brother" thing. GW would play them every year. GT won't. haven't played in like 40 years.GW and GT couldn’t figure out a way to play a regular season game?
Like it - Go JRob.All the sudden the A10 is getting quite a bit of hype about getting back to a 3 bid league. First I heard Matt Norlander of CBS Sports predict 3 teams in the tournament and listening to the podcast below, Giannini generates quite a bit of excitement with at least 8 of the teams in the A10. Of course, UR comes in at 10. The podcast definitely got me excited for some A10 basketball. I just have to survive the Spider OOC first !!
Also, the JRob train has left the station:
“The freshman redshirt last year, I believe Robinson, 6'9, 230. They sat him out last year because he was a raw athlete.
He had a double double against James Madison. He may be the breakout guy. He is a stunning athlete, like not only an NBA type athlete, but an NFL type.
He looks like an edge rusher. And he might be a guy that one month ago, no one was talking about, that one month from now, we all might be talking about.”

yes - he was my favorite part of Sat night for sureI was at the JMU scrimmage, and he looked good. Hopefully he’ll get minutes. We need his type of play.
I’m not Section9, but I was at the game also and here is my $0.02. One exhibition game is dangerous to use for predictions, but it appears that JRob will definitely get time. How much time is hard to say as it could be a split time situation at the 4 or more time if the Spiders played 2 traditional forwards together (Daughtry being the other). With the weak OOC schedule I definitely can’t see him getting buried on the bench.Section9, do you believe he will be one of the many young guys over the years that CM should have found minutes for playing time? Or is he a breakout player that CM can’t bury on the bench?
If you flip a 6 over, it looks like a 9.6'9??
Yeah - agree with what Native said. Just one scrimmage but given what he showed (and what others didn't) have you think he will average at least 15 minutes a game.Section9, do you believe he will be one of the many young guys over the years that CM should have found minutes for playing time? Sounds like he was our best player on the court the other night. You don't find 15 mpg for that, you find 30.Yeah - agree with what Native said. Just one scrimmage but given what he showed (and what others didn't) have you think he will average at least 15 minutes a game.
At one point I think he picked up 3 fouls in less than 2 minutes. Minutes might be low early in the season due to things like thisSounds like he was our best player on the court the other night. You don't find 15 mpg for that, you find 30.
