2025 Richmond Spiders Football - Prologue - Georgetown

That had we lost to Georgetown today it would not have been the first time, nor a new low. Don't be deceived by the non football scholarship thing. Richmond once owned the longest losing streak in the nation. There have been lower lows.

Our defense was Jekyll and Hyde. Leaking like a sieve to total domination. Don’t get it.
Noticed today with two LBs wearing clubs, how much difficulty they had tackling at times.
Also may know why Fair#2 left Maryland, he has stone hands. He dropped two well thrown balls
from Wickersham and one from Snelshire. Glad he does better at punt receiver, but he makes me
nervous. Give #13 from Gtown a Scholie. Good receiver. Powell is one tough RB. He wanted to
run over someone.

He is probably very loyal to Wickersham. Kyle has played hard and sacrificed himself for the team.

That’s nice. This is now 3 years running where Coach’s judgement has proven incorrect.
And the play calling has been even worse.

I'm glad we won but yet another ugly, poorly played for the most part, game.
I agree but an ugly win better than a pretty loss.

That was a phenomenal play. In his interview, Snelsire said it was the best throw he ever made. He explained his approach towards preparation.

Also, nothing against Bob Black, but I really enjoy Blaine McCormack doing PBP for our teams when Bob isn't available. He will end up going somewhere bigger once he leaves the Squirrels, but we could do a lot worse than him in a permanent role. He's energetic and excellent overall.
