Looks like there was a selection show gathering at the Queally Athletic Center. Was this announced? Normally they email this kind of stuff. Maybe they wanted to keep it smaller in case we weren’t selected? Would’ve been nice to see a large crowd there on TV. The reactions were great!

It’s in the region of the highest seed in the pod which in this case is Duke. It’ll be in Durham.

Guess they changed this. Women have done Dayton like the Men historically. Guess they switched it this year. That's a good break for the fans and I assume we will get the Duke fans (if there are any there) rooting for us against Nebraska and also if we advance!

I’m just so proud of this team and coaching staff. What a tremendous job they’ve done building this program to being a nationally respected program. 3 NCAAs in a row and 2 NCAAs as an at-large as a mid major. The ceiling is very high for Richmond women’s basketball.

So we were one of last two in with Nebraska since the other play - in game with UVA and Arizona State is for a 10 seed. Thats some disrespect for URI too. The play-ins are almost always for an 11 but they bumped these guys up to 10 to push URI down to the 11 seed

Very impressive work by the staff to get the team into 3 successive NCAAs with only 1 autobid. I guess the move to the A10 was for basketball, but for a different team than expected.
