I think there are many who are content to sit the bench at a great program instead of transferring down and actually playing elsewhere. So the talent is concentrated among the elite. I'd bet the subs at those FF teams could win some low-major leagues.

The final 4 teams combined for 7 losses this season and 4 were to each other. Texas gave South Carolina two of those losses and UCLA its only loss. And South Carolina beat Texas once. The talent is just that concentrated.

On another note I didn't see a good place to put this but VCU is hiring Chelsea Banbury from High Point as its new WBB coach. The full article can be found at:
