They're not quite Bona-level bad, but this should be another cake walk for the Spiders. Probably a similar 21–7 type score again this week, depending on how much and how early we let off the gas to rest our top guys.

if you've never listened to a media session with a #1 ranked MLAX team's head coach this is your chance...

JOC offers a wide range of questions for Chemotti...just listening leaves this fan with a stronger appreciation for his skills at building the UR program from scratch to a National Championship contender...

its informative and convincing

congrats to the players and coaches...looking forward to a fun week and the big times still ahead!

Go Spiders!

Interesting that JOC asked the question about whether Richmond could be asked to go to ACC for lacrosse. Thought had crossed my mind too. Practically, I think we are good enough and well respected enough that ACC would take us for lax only from a reputable perspective to get them to 6 teams. Realistically though the chance is probably 0.1%. 1) like Chemotti said the ACC has never taken an affiliate and 2) A10 lacrosse exists and we are full members of A10. A10 is a good conference by the way with St. Joes and UMass being top 20 this year and HPU and Delaware having had good seasons in recent pass too.

The dream would be for us to be in the big east as full time member. Our men’s basketball is lacking but our men’s lacrosse, women’s basketball, women’s lacrosse, and men’s golf program would all either improve or greatly improve the conference in those respective sports.

Chemotti is such an impressive guy. It's clear his authentic nature makes the difference when it comes to recruiting and leading the squad. It's sad that moving to a more legit lacrosse conference seems like a pipe dream but if they can continue to schedule well out of conference it shouldn't be an issue with their national title chances.
