Good results outside of the metrics too. We were 3rd in some voters ballots behind Princeton and that should stop now. Plus Cornell should move up a few spots making that win better optically (as well as the metrics impact).

Gtown woulld become a very good win for us if they can beat the Cuse!

UVA up 2-0 on Notre Dame early on. I see this game as a win-win for us either way. Either ND wins and we get a 1 v. 2 matchup next week or UVA wins and we become #1 AND our win vs. UVA looks better.

#1 Spiders rolling since the ND Final came through!

Will this be our first ever #1 ranking in any sport? (Not including the FCS championship where I don't think we were ever ranked #1 unless there was a poll after season ended).

pretty sure we've been #1 in FCS football more than once.

The year after the football natty, we were preseason #2, beat Duke in week one to move up to #1, and stayed there for 8 weeks or so until we lost to Villanova. We were also #1 for a week early in the natty season, but coincidentally it was also Villanova that immediately beat us the following week to knock us out.

But of course that's FCS.
