Guess this shows that coaching relationships still matter. Still plenty of work to do with 5 spots open.
I was looking at rates instead of raw numbers. Pretty sure Kaiser played more minutes than anyone on our team last year outside of maybe Johnston, which pumps up the raw numbers.would have led UR in rebounding for non-centers. tied AA in steals.
He averaged nearly 30 minutes a game for Butler with those rates. Which I think speaks highly of the fact that he can do a lot of things well and yes I've seen multiple comments online about this defensive aptitude.I was looking at rates instead of raw numbers. steal rate would have been 4th, close to Tyne.
offensive rebounding rate would have been 4th, close to AP
defensive rebounding rate would have been 7th.
block rate would have been 9th.
usage rate is in the David Thomas / AP / JRob area, actually almost dead last. The only player on our team who had meaningful minutes with a lower usage rate was AP.
Obviously these numbers don't tell the full story, very glad to hear he is a good, high effort defender.
love multi-sport athletes, especially football for the toughness displayed. He was a helluva football player too coming out of Lake Braddock. Had an offer from Pitt and Maryland before choosing Basketball.
Yes, and again the CEO and highest paid employee needs to go out and get that bag. No excuses. Mooney = Big excuse mongerer. He should have been all over PQ and whoever last two years when he still had more credibility. But he was instead taking the easy route and getting mediocre HS players.agreed but let's not be naive. we don't get a guy like Kaiser on a budget NIL package like we ran the last couple years, even with his coach in fold.
He’s the same height as JRob, so he will be a center obviously. He averaged nearly 30 minutes a game for Butler with those rates. Which I think speaks highly of the fact that he can do a lot of things well and yes I've seen multiple comments online about this defensive aptitude.
Question: Where does he play? He is 6'6 listed as a guard. Does he slide into our starting 2 or 3? Where did he play at Butler?
Maybe his signing will influence some other good players to sign with UR.Good get, now we need 3 more starters.
He only played one year at Maryland, than transferred to Butler, got injured at the beginning of 24-25 and sat out as the medical redshirt, this was his second year of playing. His Maryland shooting numbers were really bad especially from 2, but soph year (which I guess was 2 years later?) were better. Need to continue that trend.
No tough midrange shots!
Hope you stop by a lotHe only played one year at Maryland, than transferred to Butler, got injured at the beginning of 24-25 and sat out as the medical redshirt, this was his second year of playing.
As for the tough mid range shots, it's evident that you haven't seen him play a whole bunch.
I’ve quite literally never seen him play. My point about tough midrange shots was a dig at our coach’s style of play. which is evident you wouldn’t know I was discussing since you’ve clearly not seen me post a whole bunch. He only played one year at Maryland, than transferred to Butler, got injured at the beginning of 24-25 and sat out as the medical redshirt, this was his second year of playing.

rumor is we may hear another shortly.Maybe his signing will influence some other good players to sign with UR.
Edit: Just saw SF Spidur said pretty much the same thing on another thread.
Fan1, can you tell what position?rumor is we may hear another shortly.
