I get analytics and think they are important. But there is just something that a poster dunk does to impact the game that is not captured completely in metrics. I can recall numerous Kevin Smith dunks that just set the tone and lifted the team.

Native, I have to admit, the post about Bryson, I think, was due to the practice report from our podcasters. I was high on him to be our starting wing this season. The very first practice report indicated he was struggling to score in our internal scrimmages. Thus my comment.

Double down. If JRob is not getting significant minutes because of some perceived misfit between being 3/4, then that’s a fireable offense. That guy brings a whole vibe to the lineup that’s been missing for a while now.

I didn't see the game, but I am really liking hearing this. My goodness, do we ever need a player like this, and it sounds like he needs a lot of minutes. I am a big play 3 guards guy, but if it comes down to an average guy at the 3rd guard spot or an athletic, difference maker at the F spot, play the F all day long!

Agree. Dunks, blocked shots, and steals resulting in easy layups seem to energize teams and get the crowd pumped at home.

right - when was the last time that a Spider had a dunk after a Spiders missed FT .. even in a scrimmage game in a 1/3 filled RC it was crazy exciting
