Argabright time

Lopez is a little lost on offense (maybe more than a little). You can tell, he is not a "system" guy and clearly hasn't been in our kind of offense. Looks more like a guy who has played in the dribble drive motion offense but not one like ours with as much ball and position motion that isn't off dribble drive action.

Two and a half games in and its clear (to me anyway) that our best 5 is going to be Argabright, Johnston, Jrob, Daughtry and Walz.

Dropping AP from rotation leaves Tyne, Lopez, Tanner, Thomas and Beagle. That 2nd group would be much stronger on defense (even with Tanner) while first group can really score the ball I think. But probably not a great idea to play either group extended minutes as I constituted them. Too unbalanced. I am ok with everyone getting minutes they are except AP needs to join the bench mob!

It didn’t take long to figure out the “line shift” is going to look much better with the lower level teams. The Tribe plays this frequent sub style and are plenty comfortable with it.

Nice to see some physicality from the Spiders though. Some A10 teams may be surprised this season.

Super strange stats for a Richmond squad. Tons of boards and FT for us which is so different. So are our 9 turnovers. And our 11 man rotation. And our pace.

But we still can't shoot = = 36.7% from the floor!

Well, I will say this team is more entertaining to watch so far compared to last season. Johnston getting untracked. Glad to see Mooney letting Lopez play through some mistakes.

Yeah - - he dribbles himself into trouble a lot and not just against the full court press.
