Game Thread - URI @RC Wed 1/21 7p ESPN+

Then you'd recognize that at the end of the year when the ball stops bouncing there is one champion. Everyone else, including VCU fans, generally end the season sad. Just enjoy the journey and the fact we have players with Richmond across their chest and a coach who loves the University, graduates his players, and represent the University with class.

Congratulations to your grandson

When you gain this perspective you'll enjoy the games more
Not one season, or two, or three; it is the realization that there is no hope for recovery with the current leadership. Success does not need championship, contrary when there is no chance to ever expect to compete for championship. That is where we are.

We will enjoy the board more when you are gone.

How they didn't give Argabright the ball with 1m left and ended up with a long Johnston 3 near the buzzer was criminal.

Start Argabright, play him 35 minutes. It's past time. Tyne is a good guy by all accounts, has been a system guy and such, but Argabright is just much, much better.

Thomas also looked pretty good again, he also should be ahead of Tyne in the rotation.

@GlouGuy - your guy 1-5 from 3 tonight and an airball from the FT line. Sucks bc I like about 80% of what he does in the games, but he's so atrocious as a shooter it basically negates everything else. They're just leaving him wide open now. Yet he still has a green light, unbelievably. His misses are not even close either, they're total bricks each and every one.

FTs lost the game, but Moon certainly helped prevent UR winning it prior to that. It's 2/3 way through the season and the coach doesn't know his best players or best combos of players yet. 21 years.

So right - Gilly is my favorite spider ever since basically watched 90% of his games in person from his first as a freshman to all of the A10 DC miracle games to the two in Buffalo - Was living in GA during the KA years before ESPN+ so only saw a handful of KA games live.. Gilly was of course great as a freshman on a bad team ..but honestly given his playing time AA has been as good if not better

Why did Mike Walz enter the game the last few secs. When he hasn’t played the whole game basically. Can someone please help me understand?
