Of all the excuse for all the program woes I've heard lately (or not heard as the case may be), the "financial reasons" for not staying in Pittsburgh really takes the cake. I could maybe understad if it were a matter of missing classes for a day or two. But how much could it possibly cost to put up however many people there are in our traveling party for two extra nights?

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the cost breakdown of staying in Pitt vs cycling back? I’m betting Hardt’s yellow legal pad math would be something to roll your eyes at.
