Do non-Power Conferences even matter?

I think Davidson belongs in the same tier as UR as well from a resources and support standpoint.

Also seems like St Joe’s may belong in the empty ? tier. I don’t think they belong lumped in with the rest in the bottom tier. They are a legitimate question to me and it looks like a coaching change (gasp) helped their situation this year even with it occurring in the 11th hour.
sure. these are not set in stone.

I had Davidson lower because it only has 1900 undergrads, is not located in a city and plays in an antiquated gym (while capacity # is okay, I believe those are pull out bleachers on the big side.) If they can get lower level transfers via the Curry NIL $$, that's great, but those are notable disadvantages compared with UR and SLU that I think merit consideration.

also, after reviewing the post made today about average attendance, I'm find with Saint Joe's - just over 2k average attendance - and Davidson at 2.7 average attendance - being in lower tiers. Those are not upper tier numbers. UR has 3k students and averages 4600 even in a disheartening season like this one. Saint Joe's just feels out of sorts for me, so until they prove they can draw better, be more consistent and generally act like an upper tier program, they remain in my untrustworthy category. I feel like it's mostly a leadership issue with them (which is pretty on the nose for a UR fan to write.)

I almost called you out when I posted that as I saw the same thing of course. Still feel like Davidson punches above their weight class though and we are talking about basketball. They don’t waste any resources on football even though they field a team in whatever strange arrangement they have.

Your additional statements seem to reinforce the ? Category for Joe’s.

I agree Davidson punches above its weight. They as well as Dayton both field FCS football teams in the Pioneer League which offers No Scholarships.
