How much of this is because Seth Curry is the GM?

I'm sure getting Curry involved and vested helps a ton. And Bonnies have Woj. And who does VCU have. No one like that, but they have expectations and don't have excuses. I'm sure Steph Curry is every bit if not more busy then Kenny Atkinson, but my guess is sleepy Hardt and moon have not reached out, or just made a half Hardted attempt. There is always an excuse. I wonder who Gardner Webb had in order land a good schedule. Woe is me.

Another unimpressive one, but at least has a few quality games.

Grand Canyon, Santa Clara, and San Francisco are all pretty high quality mid major programs who are expected to be good next year. They also got either a Big 10 or ACC program in their MTE. While not anything to brag about, those 4 games are better than anything on our schedule.
I have yet to see an OOC as bad as ours.

Since they mentioned GW, I decided to check out this early ranking.
Really would have been surprised if Marcus was granted another year. Seems like a hope for the best type of request and maybe he was just looking to have something on the books in case there are further NCAA rule changes.
