Why the heck did we lose out to Delaware for three guys that could have helped us big time last few years then? I believe it is because Mooney sucks at identifying, sucks at landing them, and now probably sucks at using NIL properly, and sucks at getting the funds (should have pushed more past two years). But anyone with talent, you seem to have the "why would they come her attitude". And i get it, its dicey to come here with Mooney, but if you have a Schertz type, a Tarrant type, a Dutcher type, a Beilein type - maybe you can figure out how to get those guys. And yess, we can get those type of coaches - two of them right on that list. But we keep ahead with moon.
 
Agree 23 about selling a vision. Get Fernandez, Kaiser, Jordan Frison from Chattanooga and Ben Defty from BU and bring them to campus. Have them meet with Argabright and sell the idea that these guys commit together and surrounded themselves with talent, get paid well, play significant minutes, and at a high level in the A10.

1. 5’10” Argabright - all A10 rookie team
2. 6’ Jordan Frison from Chattanooga - 16 ppg. 3rd team all SoCon
3. 6’5” Fernandez from Delaware - 16.6 ppg
4. 6’6” Kaiser from Butler - 10 ppg, 7 rbg
4. 7’ Ben Defty from BU - 15 ppg. 2nd team all Patriot league, all defensive team.

Land these guys and give them collectively $3-3.25 million. Distribute the rest among the rest of the roster. Have a more aggressive and direct offense playing to their talents. Fix the defensive scheme. Schedule decent teams for OOC and then maybe Spider17 might find himself being hopeful again.
 
And if it is just the money, go get the money Mooney. SLU - last offseason - 4 transfers from: UVA, Xavier, St John's and BC. It can be done, just need a good coach, a little more NIL, and a vision.
 
man ... looking at that Delaware team, I can't figure out how they only won 10 games. not like Fernandez was alone. top 3 guys all shot near 40% from 3.
 
Didn't watch them much this year but seemed to have a lot of injuries, not much defense or athleticism.
