Tyler Burton in the pros

He is really trending up. Good to see him keeping himself relevant for hopeuflly a call up at some point. I remember watching his highlights from prep school and thinking, this guy really looks like he could be a player. But that was a point in time when Mooney was on a bad recruiting run (seems like a familiar pattern?) so I kind of wrote him off. Would love to see him make in the league.

Is he close to getting a 10 day contract? I guess there even if he is close, a roster spot would need to open up?

Was just looking and the Grizzlies roster seems like quite a mess. Not sure where Burton projects but guessing SF which seems like the one spot they don’t have a real depth problem at.

Burton was on fire again tonight...career-high 40 plus 8 boards and 5 assists in a Hustle win.

40pts and only 12 came from 3pt line. Scoring at all levels. Really interested to see if he gets a shot at the league.

U think so? It looks exactly the same to me. Still a high arc.
looks to me like he has altered his release - - specifically the angles on the release seem a little flatter. So, it may be as high an arc but its a bit different shape shot in the air. The primary thing that should help with is being consistent with his shot. His release with us seemd a little more upright and inconsistent from shot to shot.

someone fixed his arc. it looks perfect now. don't understand why we didn't address it.
Because we don't teach, correct, or enforce shooting form. It's maddening. From Nathan Cayo and Trey Davis free throws, to Deion Taylor's "cock the ball behind your head" to Julius Johnson facing sideways when he shot. All correctable. None corrected.
