He became 2nd-3rd fiddle in the backfield as the season progressed.Got to the hole quickly but that was about it.Having an inexperienced OL didn’t help him.Creamer will hopefully return in ‘26.

Had a terrific game v the Tribe.Likely would have been a permanent fixture next season on D with 3 years remaining. He’ll bring interest from potential suitors.

A degree doesn't mean anything to people who believe they can play in the NFL and that you can't get there from UR (even though that has been proven wrong time and again).I have the same concerns. Are they leaving for greener pastures or is it discontent with our coaches. Doesn’t seem a degree from Richmond is keeping the best talent here?![]()
Field hockey, Tennis, and the other Olympic sports don’t have NIL money or at least any significant money. So even if the guys transferring won’t end up in NFL, they’ll have an opportunity to make some decent NIL money in football, which is the king of college sports. Even G5 schools will have some good money to throw around, which is way more than what is offered at Richmond… which is effectively zero. Other thoughts could be more exposure and culture around football. I’m sure many of those players want to play under bright lights on ESPN and have many fans attending the games. Not as prevalent ant Richmond. Also, like others have mentioned there’s always the dream of going pro in football. Tennis, field hockey, cross country don’t have as much of a professionally established system. Baseball and lacrosse (albeit lacrosse is growing) do, as well as basketball. This is all very odd to me and like KE and peanuts it raises some concerns. Say what you will about our other primary sports, they don't seem to lose nearly as many in the various portals on a porportional basis. And none of them (except perhaps Maggie) are going to play professionally so clearly at least some athletes value the Richmond degree/experience. Why is football different?

One of our DBs that I think went to App State and then got drafted by Tampa Bay. But I also feel there isThis is all very odd to me and like KE and peanuts it raises some concerns. My guess is a combination of both.Lordy. Hemorrhaging two years in a row.
Is it the reality of this free for all college era or something afoul internally?
