Portal is nothing more than an auction house or an estate sale for young, naive, inexperienced athletes. Can't find your bidding price, stay put and try again next year.

I don’t understand how this can be allowed by the NCAA. We know that UNC and others used to make up fake classes for their players to take, but it least there was some appearance that they were students. Now a top QB can state this publicly?

Someone is going to have to explain how playing isn’t a regular job now and why are these athletes even on campuses? Time for the NFL to have an official minor league. Don’t worry the teams can keep the same colors and names, they can simply pay a royalty fee back to the institution.

5 losses to playoff teams. I do not have any idea if that is a good or bad reflection of the talent they lost but they had a tough schedule to start the year.
It definitely would explain why their website is full of transfer commits.

Our website should be equally full of transfer commits.
 
Offers can go out as soon as they’re in the portal and anytime after that. No deadline, just sign and get on campus for the fall semester.

But teams playing heavily in the portal are snapping up quality guys by the minute. Many were working to get guys on board for spring semester to give them a season of spring football to learn the ropes with their new teams, but that ship has already sailed for the Spiders with classes starting last week. Many schools don’t start back until this week.

Last numbers I saw, over 6700 still looking for teams. Not panic time yet.
