OOC game experience survey

Got an e-mail this morning with a link to a survey for my out of conference game experience. I recall getting a similar survey last year.

I sort of wish I was able to see the questions and scores I gave last year, but I am pretty sure that this year I will be setting new lows.

The other thing that I seem to recall last year that did not change is that the survey has a 100 CHARACTER limit on the feedback section. How ridiculous is that? Maybe that is the reason they can’t get anything right. Wouldn’t want any feedback to find out exactly what is wrong with the experience. We just need some numerical representations.

Native, I received it also for both the Men's and Women's non conference experience...as those that follow both programs know the contrast could not be greater between the trajectories of the two programs...particularly their non conference scheduling

I agree the 100 character limit is ridiculous, but at least showing some respect for the loyal Richmond fans is a small step in the right direction...

another thing to beware of, if this is like the follow up surveys for Spiders football, is to be sure you respond promptly...I don't know exactly how long the survey stays open, but several times when I waited until the next day to reply I was advised the survey was closed after I gave my feedback and hit the submit button...that was irritating!

I urge all fans who got the survey to tell whoever reads it what you think about the non conference experience...it should make for good reading for someone at the UR AD!

Go Spiders!

I'm a season ticket holder, but didn't get the survey so far. I did look also in my e-mail Junk Folder since the schedule is junk, but it wasn't there either.

I don't need 100 characters to say "The OOC schedule sucked so bad I did not have an OOC game experience."
Your sentence is roughly 66% of 100 characters, by way of showing how ridiculous that feeback limit is. If you include your entire post, it is likely right at 100 characters.

How about:

SOS omgbad SVa wtf no popcrn gtfo vid brds meh hlftme more lolz real MTE plzzzz

We do satisfaction surveys at our company. Anyone who does them realizes the values lies in the individualized responses provide the most meaningful feedback in these surveys. Limiting that feedback to 100 characters is a deliberate choice.

Imagine if you are AD of a program like Richmond and you let all this crap on game day, poor communications, just lack of caring and understanding go on during your watch. I would be embarrassed and mad and take steps to correct immediately. Poor, poor , poor. Hardt is the VP in charge of athletics. Really reinforces the image of him sleeping in the office while all this goes on.

Not a good look, but we are only talking about the PREMIER program….

Of course it is. Just doing the minimum and checking the box.

Also, we used to get highlights on the YouTube channel for away games. I guess that is too hard now too. In the old days, Mark Kwolek would have them up before I got home from the game. Not a huge deal, but just another example of running things like a D3.

I was just thinking about how I haven't any this year. Are we really not doing that anymore. I loved watching the highlights.

They posted a few clips on the twitter account, but nothing on youtube channel? Would think they could at least have a student assistant or something pull from the game film?

I feel like it's been many years since we had consistent road highlights, but maybe I'm wrong. I always assumed it was a rights issue where the home team owns it. Twitter clips from the feed probably okay because they're very short.

Please do not insult D3. We attended the RMC at CNU game earlier this season. RMC had a student filming the entire game on his iPhone set up on a tripod.

Thinking it is not a rights issue, as see other teams do this. But of course back then Kwolek was at the game actually filming. Assume we still have someone doing that. Anyway, another team I follow - they get up away game highlights.
