Yeah, I was getting at that weaker AQ aspect in my post, but it would likely take multiple upsets for it to trickle down to the 4 and 5 seed level.
Even the 3 seed plays a solid Towson auto out of the CAA in that bracketology, so say they get upset in their tournament, a weaker team would probably slide in right there, or else into play-in and one of those teams gets moved up.
Similar story in the Patriot if Army doesn't win...a weaker auto will slide in to play the 3-seed (or bump a play-in team up to that matchup), and Towson will likely slide over to play the 4-seed and still provide a quality opponent. You'd need two of those upsets to happen in order for weak autos to be pitted against both the 3 and 4 seeds.
I'm not gonna dive too deeply into how the bus ride limit affects the possible permutations. Too much work, and most teams are within a bus ride of each other anyway.
