I did not know the site has been revived until yesterday. So for better or worse, I am back, with a pledge to myself to totally avoid any politics threads.
Didn't make it back to Homecoming this year, so sorry to not get my campus fix. But I'll be back in 2026, another of my fraternity brothers passed last week so there is no point putting anything off. Life is short and I love my visits back to UR.

No problem here with political discussions on the Off Topic portion of the board. We need to discuss more, not less. If you don't like it, don't participate.
Don't believe mature adults take different views personally, at least hope not. Never questioned the fervor of a true Spider over a political view.

Welcome back Wood! Out of curiosity how did you come across the site?
It’s been a little over 3 months since SF created it. It’s been advertised on Twitter, Facebook, the spider sound off podcast, and remains the top post on the Reddit. Also, if you search “Richmond message forum” on google, it pops up at the top.
Just curious because we’re missing a few more daily posters that I’m sure we’d all love to come back and contribute here.

I just decided, when the original board went away, that it was a good time for me to take a time-out. I also left a Mountain West/Pac-12 football site. Just needed a break.
Plus, summer was coming up, I'm busy with my part-time job and then off the grid completely for several weeks at a time at our Wyoming vacation cabin.
Found it with a Google search when I decided it was time to return. I don't do Twitter, Reddit or podcasts.
Plus, I discovered "Midlife Stockman" on YouTube. That kept me occupied with feel-good content!
