Has McGlothin even been given a chance this year? I see that he has played a total of 13 minutes. I have no idea what he can do, but it would be nice to give him some time.

I thought he looked fine in his 13 minutes of play. I haven’t trusted this staffs ability to evaluate talent for several years, so there’s no telling what the issue is.

McGothlin has been a mystery indeed, I've been wanting to know his status. If he is hurt, just say so. To me this reads as everyone trying to get him an extra year of eligibility under the medical redshirt category, whether that be here or most likely somewhere else.

Speaking of 26 year old players, it seems that our old friend Chad Baker-Mazara of Duquesne, SDSU, JUCO, Auburn, and finally (I think) USC has left the court for the last time. Seems he decided to sit in the stands after half time of the last game and apparently Musselman gave the boot.

I had same thought, seems to be fishing for medical redshirt. But maybe I’m being too cynical
I haven't heard what he did to get booted, but I read that someone mentioned they didn't have enough seats on the bench. He got injured and sat real close to the end of the bench on the same level, at the baseline area, and was sitting where Rodney Rice, who is injured, was sitting. So, I am not sure sitting there was the reason or not. It was reported there was an accumulation of issues with him which led to him getting booted.

I saw that about the seats. But riddle me this, there were apparently enough seats before halftime. I wonder what happened to the extra seat???
Anyway, they spent a lot of money on him, Rodney Rice, and Arenas. Rice got banged up early. Arena almost got burned to death in his cybertruck at 3AM, prior to the season. CBM actually had a real productive season before getting some injuries late in the season. Lot of teams with big payrolls missing the dance. I guess we got a bargain to miss for only 2 million. I'm pretty sure Rice got $3 million himself.
