Game Thread - VCU @RC Sat 2/14 6PM CBS Sports Network

The sad part is our school needing to incentivize students to come to a men’s basketball rivalry game with chips and queso. When I was a student the section was packed an hour before the game. Meanwhile, there’s still plenty of general attendance seats left too.

The other sad part is the mentality we all have for this game is to win to hurt VCU’s at-large chances rather than winning to enhance ours because we have no at-large chances. It’s really become our “Super Bowl” whereas for VCU it’s just an another game.
 
This whole thread is really sad, zero enthusiasm or hope.

And what idiot thought doing this game on Valentines Saturday at 6pm, was a good idea? I'm sure not treating my woman to this fiasco Lamb-gloating fest. Please turn marketing and scheduling over to a basket weaving AI, I'm sure things would be much improved....

Had to throw the "weaving" in there to appease the Mooneyites.

Well, for me our Super Bowl was vs GMU. Remember all the hype about halftime show. And absolutely the cattle dog and Aussie delivered as pros do.🐶👍
 
The students always come out to the VCU game, so I expect them to be there today. Since I was in school, student attendance was always low except at big games (2020 vs Dayton was packed) or vs VCU. Worried about what the environment will be like outside of the student section since tickets went to general sale. Personally dreading that as I sit semi close to the away bench

On a different point, did I hear next year’s Super Bowl is on Valentine’s Day?
 
I vastly prefer our games be aired on espn+ so I can actually watch the beginning of the game. This is the 2nd time this season us TV viewers won’t get to see the start due to these network stations having a previous basketball game go long
 
VCU can throw us out of our offense so easily. All they have to do is press up on the first few passes of our action. Would love to see someone like Walz, Johnston, AJ step up. AA seems like the only guy with energy yet again.

I am not watching. 1st time maybe ever I have not been interested enough to watch a game against VCU. I am out and would normally watch on delay without knowing the score, but I will be watching UVA later, so I decided to go ahead and check the score. 32-15. LOL.
